Terms & Conditions:

We are open 9 to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Orders can only be shipped to the UK.

Orders placed after 4pm on working days will normaly be despatched on the next working day. (Phone if your order is urgent. 01297 639999)

Orders placed on non-working days will be processed on the next working day. (If you place an order Friday after 4pm it will not be processed until Monday morning)

We may need more information from you before the prescriber can authorise a supply for 'Online prescriber' items. This may delay your order.

The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products from our site. Download and keep a copy for future reference. By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all notices contained on this site.

1. Security:

The security of your payment card details and personal information is extremely important to us. We do not store credit card information. It is processed using a national payment provider called Sagepay. We do not share any of your personal information with any company.

Please keep your login details secure so they cannot be used by someone else. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Please see our privacy policy for details about the information we hold and how we store and protect it.

1.1 Personal Use:

You agree that you are over 18 years and the items you are purchasing are for your personal use or for the treatment of or onward supply to your patients.

You agree that the products you are obtaining will not be used in an unlawful manner.

You agree that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

You agree that the information you provide to us is true.

When using the 'online prescriber service' you consent to Ian Morton Ltd supplying your medication and to using the Royal Mail signed for service which is considered to be the most appropriate and safe for this type of supply.

For online prescriber medications:

You agree that you are over 18 years and the prescribed medication is for your personal use only.

You will read the patient information leaflet supplied on the website and supplied with your medication.

You have answered all the online questions accurately and truthfully. You understand our prescribers take your answers in good faith and base their prescribing decisions accordingly, and that incorrect information can be hazardous to your health.

You have answered or updated the general medical questions (accessed through ‘my account’ ‘manage general questionnaire’) accurately and truthfully.

You will inform your GP of any medication prescribed by us which your GP would otherwise be unaware of.

You will contact us and inform your GP if you experience any side effects of treatment or if your medical conditions change during treatment.

You will discuss with your GP if your symptoms persist or get worse.

1.12 Despatch times:

We are open 9 to 5pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 4pm will usually be despatched the same day (stock permitting/ prescriber permitting). Orders placed after 4pm will normally be despatched the following working day. If you are under time pressure, please phone and we will try our utmost to help.

1.2 Professional standards

Our pharmacy is run by qualified pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain (GPhC) and operating from registered pharmacy premises.

The Superintendent Pharmacist is Ian Morton GPhC 2035905.

2.1 Returning goods:

If you cancel your order before we despatch it, you will not be charged.

You must notify us if you wish to return goods.

Unauthorised returns will be liable to a charge of £10.

If you cancel your order after we despatch it but within 14 days of receiving it (and it is a returnable item - see below), you will have to pay for return postage. If the items are in a resaleable condition we will refund your order.

When returning goods please remember that you are liable for the cost of the return of the goods. We recommend making sure the package is secure and protected and that the return address is checked. We also recommend using a 'recorded/signed for' delivery with insurance in case your return parcel is lost.

2.11 Returnable items:

We cannot accept returns of prescription medicines, pharmacy medicines or items that are not sealed or where the seal has been broken. We cannot accept the return of items that are perishable.

Returned items must be in a resaleable condition.

2.12 Refunds

If your return is resaleable we will refund your payment by the same method within 14 days of receiving the returned item(s). We reserve the right to refund by an alternative method if necessary.

2.2 Other charges:

Orders placed for a prescription item (this does not apply to the online prescriber service) cannot be despatched until we receive a valid prescription. Orders placed for a prescription item where a prescription is not received by us will be charged a £3 administration fee. (this does not apply to the online prescriber service)

3. Pricing and VAT

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated and will be charged to UK and EU residents. (Prescription only medications supplied against a valid prescription are zero-rated and attract no VAT and these prices are displayed ex-VAT.)

If you login to your account and your primary billing address is in the Channel Islands, all prices will automatically be displayed ex-VAT.

To qualify for VAT free purchases, please note it is the delivery address, not the billing (cardholder address) which must have a Channel Islands address. Channel Islands residents shipping products to mainland addresses will be charged VAT on rateable items.

UK residents ordering a zero-rated prescription medicine together with a rateable item will have VAT applied (at the rate of the highest rateable item in the order) to the postage and packaging charges as per UK law.

Any order containing only zero-rated prescription items will be exempt from VAT on postage and packaging charges.

This information may be subject to change depending on current UK VAT legislation.

All special offers and prices on this site are subject to availability and whilst stocks last.

Only one discount code can be applied per order.

All prices exclude delivery costs. This will be added to your total before payment (if applicable).

4. Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro (Switch), Electron and Delta.

If your order is placed, but not accepted by totalonlineprescriptions.co.uk you will not be charged and/or a refund will be given immediately. We reserve the right to refuse an order under any circumstances.

By clicking the 'accept' button of these 'terms and conditions' you are accepting these 'terms and conditions' and are making an offer to purchase the goods.

We accept payment by cheque. Your order will be despatched when the cheque has cleared. (Approximately 7 working days after receipt.) So please be aware that payment by cheque is a very slow method of purchasing an item.

We reserve the right to charge an administrations fee for orders which are made without the relevant authorisations. eg ordering a 'prescription only medicine' without sending a prescription to us.

If your payment is rejected or declined for any reason after shipment, you will be required to provide immediate alternative payment. If subsequent payment is not received, totalonlineprescriptions.co.uk reserve the right to charge legal fees and collection charges to your account.

5.1 Royal Mail delivery:

Our standard post is Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. This will usually be delivered within 1 or 2 days.

If there is no-one to sign for the parcel at the delivery address when Royal Mail attempt a delivery, then Royal Mail will leave an 'Advice of call' card at the address. The card will explain how to get your parcel. Please note: Royal Mail will only keep your parcel at your local depot for 1 week. After this time they will return it to us. (This can take up to a month !) Once it has started its return process we have no control over it and cannot offer a refund or resend until we have received it back.

It is possible that for whatever reason, Royal Mail attempt a delivery but do not leave an 'advice of call' card. For this reason, when you receive your 'order despatched' email from us, please be aware that your parcel is on its way and will be returned to us by Royal Mail after 1 week if you do not contact Royal Mail to have it redelivered.

If your parcel is returned to us for any reason by the postal carrier, we will charge you for a redelivery fee which will be based on the cost to us of reposting to your address.

If it is late contact your local Royal Mail depot. If the depot do not have it then Royal Mail state that a claim cannot be made and therefore a parcel cannot be confirmed as lost until 15 working days ie 3 full weeks after the item was posted. If your parcel has not arrived after 15 working days after posting then please contact us. We will send a Royal Mail form P58 which you will need to complete and return to us within 7 days.

If you do not inform us of a missing parcel in writing within 6 weeks of your order being placed we cannot refund your order. (Unless we have received the parcel back from Royal Mail) http://www2.royalmail.com/customer-service/personal-customers/refunds-and-compensation/claims-process

5.2 Complaints:

We endeavour to respond to all complaints immediately but always within five working days. Please direct any complaints to If an incorrect name or delivery address is given to us, we cannot accept responsibility or offer a refund for any delay, damage or loss. Note: Phone calls are charged for a standard BT line - you will be charged by your phone company at national or local call rates depending on your location. We do not operate a premium or lo-call line.

7. General Terms & Conditions:

All orders placed via this Site will be fulfilled by us or by our authorised third parties.

Items are not supplied on a trial basis, except where covered by your right to cancel (see our returns policy).

Our website will not automatically process orders from outside the UK, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

Risk and title in the products will pass to you when we despatch them. Ownership will pass to you when full payment has been made.

You consent to our choice of carrier for the supply of your order.

A person who is not a party to this Contract shall not have any rights under it by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
